By moving the mounting point forward the body posts can be shorter, and the simple and light design (only ~4 g of additional material) takes the stress away from the thin Lexan at the rear of the car and transfers it to the robust mount. Mounting is made simple as well with multiple mounting locations to choose from and indicators to make centering the mount a breeze.
